Memphix is a collection inspired by the vibrant Memphis design movement, which marked the art and design scene in the 1980s. This movement, born in Italy, is characterized by its bold and eclectic approach to design, fusing vibrant colors, Bold geometric patterns and unexpected shapes.
Memphis challenged traditional conventions and opted for visual experimentation. Founded by Ettore Sottsass, the movement sought to free design from conventional restrictions, adopting a freer and more expressive style. The bright color palette, geometric shapes and unusual patterns defined the distinctive character of Memphis.
